If you’re having issues receiving email updates from Fonehouse, we more than likely aren’t in your safe senders list. Some email domains will send automatic emails straight to your junk folder so that your inbox is saved from filtering through thousands of irrelevant emails. You are going to want to receive emails from us be it regarding your order or our next prize draw. Here’s a few tips to change this setting so you never miss an update!
Gmail Contacts
Gmail can be a little tricky to update as they are very security orientated.
First, you need to log into your Google account and go into your Google Contacts. You will need to create a new contact, enter all their details and save this. All emails in the future will go directly to your inbox rather than spam folder.
Outlook Safe Senders
Updating your safe sender list on Outlook is super easy, whether you’re on your phone or online.
If you are using the online version of Microsoft Outlook, you will need to log into your account first. A long the top of the page, you will see a settings button, you need to select this.
Scroll down and select Mail under You App Settings. Go into Accounts and selected Block or Allow. You will now be able to enter the email address into your safe senders and all future emails will go right into your inbox.
If you are using the app, you will need to first log into your account. You will need to click on your junk folder and select the email you want to add into your safe senders list. A message will appear at the top of your email with an expiry date. You need to select this and move to inbox.
Go back into your inbox and select the message show at the top of the same email. You will now be able to select Add Sender to Safe Senders List. All done! You will now receive emails from this sender to your inbox.
iCloud Whitelist
If you are on an Apple device, you will need to log into your iCloud emails and go into your Junk folder. Open the email you want to go directly into your inbox and click the folder button at the bottom of the screen. You will need to move this into your inbox. Future emails should now go directly to your inbox.
