Picking the colour of your brand-new iPhone is one of the most exciting parts of the ‘new phone experience’. With the iPhone 16 range expected to be released soon, colour availability is one of the most talked about topics. Here’s more info on the rumoured colours of this shiny new Apple range.
How many colours will the iPhone 16 series have?
In the last couple of line-ups, Apple has released five different colour options for their entry models. For example, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are up for grabs in Black, Blue, Green, Yellow and Pink. Alternatively, for their higher-end Pro models, Apple typically releases four colours. If Apple follows this tradition, we can expect five new colours for the iPhone 16 entry models and four new colours for the Pros.
Rumoured iPhone 16 Colours
According to a recent report from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the five rumoured colours for the iPhone 16 are Blue, Pink, White, Green and Black. It’s expected that these colours will also be reflected on the iPhone 16 Plus.
Rumoured iPhone 16 Pro Colours
Moving onto the more premium iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, these two models are rumoured to be released in Black, White (or Silver), Grey and Rose. If this is the case, then Apple would be saying farewell to the ‘Blue Titanium’ colour option they introduced in the iPhone 15 Pro range in replacement for a new rose colour.
Will there be any later iPhone 16 colour releases?
It’s important to remember that the rumoured colours mentioned above may not account for potential future additions to the iPhone 16 series. Similar to how Apple introduced the iPhone 14 in yellow six months after the initial launch, it’s likely that the iPhone 16 colour options will expand over time.
