The idea of switching from Apple to Android can be daunting, but the reality doesn‘t have to be. Google has just made the big switch easier than ever before with their updated Android Switch transfer process.
The latest iPhone to Android setup tool now allows you to move your favourite Live iOS Photos over to your new Android device. Live Photos was first introduced by Apple in 2015, this concept captures the moments before and after you take a picture in video form. Google Photos have a similar feature called Motion Photos. It’s presumed that your Live Photos that were once iOS will be transferred into Motion Photos during the migration process. This gem is also combined with an array of updates to help improve user experience.
The ultimate goal of the revamped Android Switch process is to make changing devices more seamless and less stressful. Live Photo transfer is now available on all Google Pixel models and will be available on other Android devices over the next few weeks.
